Working Definition:
Configural Analysis
- is always comparative
- identifies the mythos underlying the protolog and its closest analog
- Using the configuration as a basis of comparison, it looks at the instructuring as a scaffolding of paradigmatic frames blending with syntagmatic frames.
- the outcome is a description of the building of a story world
- the comparative outcome is the differences between logos of the protolog and its analogs with respect to locating a configuration (or a story world) in a prospective worldview.
