configural analysis

Working Definition:

Configural Analysis

  1. is always comparative
  2. identifies the mythos underlying the protolog and its closest analog
  3. Using the configuration as a basis of comparison, it looks at the instructuring as a scaffolding of paradigmatic frames blending with syntagmatic frames.
  4. the outcome is a description of the building of a story world
  5. the comparative outcome is the differences between logos of the protolog and its analogs with respect to locating a configuration (or a story world) in a prospective worldview.

Since this is my term, there are no definitions of it other than mine.
